Schmap tourist guides

Just found out about the Schmap set of dynamic travel guides, since a Flickr photo of mine was selected as the image for King's Chapel in Boston. The site uses Google Maps for plotting and navigating through the various attractions.

Shootings in Virginia Tech

Terrible breaking news about the shootings at VT, and the death toll is still rising. I spent some months there in 1996 and 2000, so recognising quite a few of the places on the TV news coverage :( I wish they wouldn't show the amateur mobile phone video footage though, it's just not right.

Cambridge, the Semantic Web and Entrepreneurship

Had a busy but very productive 24 hours of dinners, meetings, and other discussions here in Cambridge. Last night, myself and Stefan met with Kingsley Idehen, where we had a great chat over dinner about SIOC, the Semantic Web and ongoing work in both OpenLink and DERI.
